I have been getting NUMEROUS comments on my posts from two different profiles and I think they may not be good.
It all started with some computer problems INCLUDING a few "porno" icons showing up on my desktop. At the same time, I'm getting pop-ups from an unknown source saying my computer is infected with a virus. When I run my virus software, it will get rid of any tracking cookies and 1 virus I had....
Problem is, it keeps coming back....
I went in and deleted all the files that contain the virus +/or icons as far as I can tell, done numerous scans....
I just happened to get an email notification yesterday that I had a comment on like 6 posts from one of these comment spammers. A few weeks ago, it was a different one.
Both have a series of little boxes, no words, EXCEPT....
Yesterdays had all boxes, then JUST before the end of all those boxes, is the word GPS
The one a few weeks ago had the word SEX in the middle of it all.
I wonder if this is where these are coming from?
So, my point is, right now I have comment moderation on, which I HATE to do, but...
BTW- H & S, perhaps you didn't know there is a link left behind to your profiles. You may not have actual blogs, but you do have a profile and if you come back, I will report you to Blogger!

I hate spam and hackers. It makes everyone leery about trusting. and that kind of takes all the fun out of blogging and meeting new people.

I am having similar problems with the pop up saying I have trojans and viruses on my computer. I have a firewall and virus software and I run them every day now. It freaked me out. I also have comment moderation turned on.
